- 1½ tsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp Weber® Roasted Garlic & Herb Seasoning
- 24 fresh dates
- 12 slices thin-cut bacon, halved
- ⅓ cup honey
Sweet, savory, and utterly delicious, these Bacon-Wrapped Stuffed Dates are filled with creamy goat cheese enhanced by Weber® Roasted Garlic & Herb Seasoning, then wrapped in crispy bacon and drizzled with honey. A perfect bite-sized appetizer for any occasion!
Directions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Prepare Dates: Using a small knife, carefully slice each date lengthwise, making sure not to cut all the way through. Remove the pits and set the dates aside.
- Prepare Goat Cheese Mixture: In a medium bowl, mix goat cheese, olive oil, and Weber® Roasted Garlic & Herb Seasoning until smooth and well combined.
- Stuff and Wrap Dates: Fill each date with the goat cheese mixture, then gently press the sides of the date together to seal. Wrap each stuffed date with a half slice of bacon and secure the bacon with a toothpick if needed. Arrange the wrapped dates on the prepared baking sheet.
- Drizzle and Bake: Drizzle honey evenly over the bacon-wrapped dates. Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the bacon is crisp and caramelized, turning the dates halfway through cooking for even browning.
- Serve: Let the dates cool for 5 minutes before serving. Transfer to a platter and enjoy warm!
Tips & Tricks
- For an extra crunch, add a toasted almond inside each date before stuffing it with the goat cheese mixture.
