Ingredients
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tbsp Weber® Kick 'n Chicken® Seasoning, divided
- 1 cup red bell pepper, cored and sliced
- 1 cup green bell pepper, cored and sliced
- 1 cup onion, sliced
- 2 tbsp corn oil
- 8 flour tortillas
- Optional: salsa, sour cream, guacamole, or refried beans
Your backyard taco night will get a deliciously grilled twist with this zesty chicken tacos recipe from Weber Sauces & Seasonings – great for holidays and gatherings all Grill Season-long!
Directions
- Preheat the Grill: Preheat the grill to medium heat (350°F–400°F).
- Grill Chicken: Coat the chicken breasts on both sides with 1 tbsp Weber® Kick 'n Chicken® Seasoning.
- Grill over direct medium heat for 8–12 minutes, turning once, until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of at least 170°F.
- Remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes. Slice into strips.
- Prepare Vegetables: In a large bowl, combine the red and green bell peppers and onion. Add the corn oil and the remaining 1 tbsp Weber® Kick 'n Chicken® Seasoning. Mix well to coat.
- Place the vegetables in a grill basket and grill over direct medium heat for 6–8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until tender and lightly browned.
- Warm Tortillas: While the vegetables are grilling, warm the tortillas on the grill for about 10–15 seconds per side, until soft and lightly charred. Wrap in foil to keep warm.
- Assemble Tacos: Fill each tortilla with grilled chicken and vegetables.
- Top with salsa, sour cream, or guacamole, as desired, or serve alongside refried beans.
- Serve and Enjoy: Serve the tacos immediately while warm. Enjoy the bold flavors of Weber® Kick 'n Chicken® Seasoning in every bite!
Tips & Tricks
- Add 1 teaspoon Weber Kick'n Chicken® Seasoning to a 15-ounce can of refried beans. Mix well and heat until bubbling.
- Add 1 teaspoon Weber® Kick'n Chicken® Seasoning per cup of salsa or sour cream to jazz up the flavor.
