Directions
- Preheat Oven and Prepare Chicken: Preheat grill or oven to medium-low heat 325°F–350°F and lightly grease a casserole dish or line it with foil.
- Season chicken breasts with 1 tbsp Weber® Kick’N Chicken® Seasoning. Layer each with a slice of ham and Swiss cheese, then roll tightly and secure with toothpicks.
- Coat and Bake Chicken: In a small bowl, combine 3 tbsp melted butter and 1 minced clove of garlic. In another bowl, mix 1 cup seasoned breadcrumbs with ½ tsp dried thyme.
- Dip each chicken roll in the butter mixture, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture. Place rolls in the prepared dish and bake for 35–40 minutes, or until golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Prepare Sauce: While the chicken bakes, melt 2 tbsp butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Whisk in 2 tbsp flour and cook for 1 minute.
- Gradually whisk in ¾ cup milk and ¼ cup white wine until smooth. Add 2 tsp Dijon mustard, 1 tsp chicken bouillon granules, and ½ tsp Worcestershire sauce, cooking until thickened. Remove from heat and stir in ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve: Remove toothpicks from the chicken rolls and plate. Spoon the creamy Dijon sauce generously over each roll and serve immediately.
Tips & Tricks
- For extra crispy chicken, bake on a wire rack placed over the casserole dish to allow air circulation around the breading.
