Prep Time: 10 Minutes
Cook Time: 5 Minutes + 30 Minutes Chill Time
Total Time: 45 Minutes
Yield: About 12 Servings

Ingredients

  • 2 cups dark chocolate chips
  • ½ cup coarsely crushed pretzels
  • ½ cup coarsely chopped unsalted peanuts
  • 1 cup peanut butter chips
  • 1 tablespoon creamy peanut butter
  • 1 to 2 teaspoons Southern Comfort Whiskey Flavored Seasoning

Directions

  1. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. Set aside.
  2. Melt dark chocolate using a double boiler or in the microwave. To microwave, cook on high 1 to 1 ½ minutes, stirring every 20 seconds to avoid seizing.
  3. Reserve 2 tablespoons each pretzels and peanuts. Stir remaining pretzels and peanuts into chocolate.
  4. Melt peanut butter chips and peanut butter using a double boiler.*
  5. Pour chocolate mixture onto prepared baking sheet and spread into a rectangle about 10 x 7 inches. Drizzle melted peanut butter mixture randomly over chocolate. Run a knife through the two layers to form swirls.
  6. Sprinkle reserved pretzels, peanuts and Southern Comfort Whiskey Flavored Seasoning evenly over the top.
  7. Allow the bark to set completely in the refrigerator, about 30 minutes. Once hardened, break into pieces.

*Peanut butter chips can easily seize or burn in the microwave.  If you don’t have a double boiler, you can easily make one by setting a heatproof mixing bowl on top of a pot of simmering water. Fill a pot with 2 to 3 inches of water and put it over medium heat. Bring the water to a boil and lower the heat to a simmer.  Add chips and peanut butter to the bowl and stir until smooth.
