Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Weber® Chicago Steak® Seasoning
  • 1 tsp dried chives
  • 4 tuna fillets, 1 inch thick
  • 4 Kaiser rolls
  • Favorite toppings: sliced tomatoes, leaf lettuce and pickles
This Grilled Tuna Steak Sandwich showcases the bold flavor of Weber® Chicago Steak® Seasoning in a perfectly marinated and grilled tuna, served on toasted Kaiser rolls with fresh toppings. A simple yet satisfying meal packed with savory goodness!

Directions

  1. Marinate Tuna & Preheat Grill: In a resealable plastic bag, combine olive oil, balsamic vinegar, Weber® Chicago Steak® Seasoning, and chives. Add the tuna fillets, seal the bag, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes. Meanwhile, Preheat grill to high heat 400°F–450°F.
  2. Grill Tuna and Toast Rolls: Remove the tuna from the marinade, discarding the excess. Grill over direct high heat for 5–10 minutes, turning once, until the desired doneness is reached. Sprinkle additional Weber® Chicago Steak® Seasoning if desired. While the tuna is grilling, place the Kaiser rolls on the grill and toast until lightly golden.
  3. Assemble and Serve: Layer the grilled tuna on the toasted rolls with your favorite toppings, such as sliced tomatoes, lettuce, and pickles. Serve immediately and enjoy! Serve tuna on toasted bun with desired toppings.
