Ingredients
- 10 slices bacon, halved
- 6 tsp Weber® Southern Comfort™ Whiskey Flavored Seasoning, divided
- 20 large sea scallops, side muscles removed
- 4–6 skewers (wooden, soaked in water for 30 minutes, or metal)
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted

Directions
- Preheat Grill: Preheat grill to medium-high heat 375°F–425°F, set up for direct cooking.
- Partially Cook Bacon: Arrange bacon slices on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Sprinkle with 2 tsp Weber® Southern Comfort™ Whiskey Flavored Seasoning. Bake in a 375°F oven or cook on the grill over indirect heat for 5 minutes, just until some fat is rendered but bacon remains pliable. Let cool slightly.
- Prepare Scallops: Pat scallops dry with a paper towel. Wrap each scallop with a half slice of bacon and thread 4–5 bacon-wrapped scallops onto each skewer, or skewer individually for easy serving at parties. Sprinkle scallops evenly with 2 tsp Weber® Southern Comfort™ Whiskey Flavored Seasoning.
- Grill Skewers: Place skewers directly on the grill grates. Grill for 3–4 minutes per side, or until scallops are opaque and bacon is crisp. Avoid overcooking to keep scallops tender.
- Prepare Butter Sauce: In a small bowl, combine melted butter with the remaining 2 tsp Weber® Southern Comfort™ Whiskey Flavored Seasoning. Brush skewers with the seasoned butter before serving, and provide additional butter sauce for dipping.
