Get your timing down

As pioneers of backyard grilling, we know how to grill to perfection. If you’re not sure how long to cook something, just remember: For every inch of thickness, the meat needs 6-8 minutes of cooking time.

How do you like it?

Medium-rare: Take it off earlier.

Well-done: Leave it on longer.

Keep a meat thermometer nearby to check the internal temperature. Always check at the thickest part of the meat. And remember, the meat continues to cook for a couple minutes once off the grill.

Minimum internal temperatures:

Beef and pork 145°F

Poultry 165°F
