Smoked Jalapeno Popper Pigs in a Blanket Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 package of Lit’l Smokies Smoked Sausages
  • 1 package cream cheese
  • ⅓ cup of cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1 package of bacon, cooked & chopped
  • 2 tbsp Weber Ultimate Garlic Seasoning
  • 12 jalapeños
  • 2 containers of crescent roll rough, 8 ct.
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted

Directions

  1. Heat your smoker, with the wood chips of your choice, to 350 degrees.
  2. Prepare the jalapeños – cut off the tops & bottoms, slice in half and core
  3. Separate the crescent roll dough and slice each individual triangle in half.
  4. In a medium bowl, combine cream cheese, cheddar cheese, bacon & Weber Ultimate Garlic seasoning.
  5. Fill each jalapeño half with 1 1/2 tablespoon of cheese mixture and top with smoked sausage.
  6. Roll crescent roll half around the stuffed jalapeño.
  7. Brush tops with melted butter & season with more Weber Ultimate Garlic seasoning.
  8. Add to smoker & bake for 20 minutes.
