Ingredients

  • ½ lb ground beef
  • ½ lb ground pork
  • ½ cup onion, diced
  • ½ cup green bell pepper, diced
  • 2 tbsp garlic, minced
  • 1 can (15 oz) kidney beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes (with juice)
  • 1 cup Weber® Sweet & Thick Original BBQ Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Weber® Bold Sweet & Smoky Chipotle Seasoning Blend
  • ½ cup beef broth
A hearty and flavorful chili featuring a rich combination of ground beef and pork, smoky Weber® Bold Sweet & Smoky Chipotle Seasoning, and sweet Weber® BBQ Sauce. Packed with tender beans and vibrant vegetables, this chili is slow-simmered to perfection for a bold, BBQ-inspired twist on a classic comfort dish. Perfect for backyard gatherings or a cozy meal!

Directions

  1. Preheat grill to medium heat 350°F–400°F and heat large pot or Dutch oven. Add the ground beef and pork, cooking until browned and crumbled. Drain any excess fat if necessary.
  2. Add onion, bell pepper, and garlic to the pot. Sauté for 4–5 minutes until softened and fragrant.
  3. Stir in Weber® Bold Sweet & Smoky Chipotle Seasoning. Cook 1–2 minutes to enhance the spices.
  4. Add the kidney beans, black beans, diced tomatoes (with juice), Weber® Sweet & Thick Original BBQ Sauce, and broth. Stir well to combine.
  5. Reduce the heat to low, cover, and let the chili simmer for 30–40 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.
  6. Taste and add more Weber® Bold Sweet & Smoky Chipotle Seasoning if you want extra smokiness.
  7. Ladle the chili into bowls and garnish with your favorite toppings like shredded cheese, sour cream, or tortilla chips.
