Ingredients
- ½ lb ground beef
- ½ lb ground pork
- ½ cup onion, diced
- ½ cup green bell pepper, diced
- 2 tbsp garlic, minced
- 1 can (15 oz) kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes (with juice)
- 1 cup Weber® Sweet & Thick Original BBQ Sauce
- 2 tbsp Weber® Bold Sweet & Smoky Chipotle Seasoning Blend
- ½ cup beef broth
A hearty and flavorful chili featuring a rich combination of ground beef and pork, smoky Weber® Bold Sweet & Smoky Chipotle Seasoning, and sweet Weber® BBQ Sauce. Packed with tender beans and vibrant vegetables, this chili is slow-simmered to perfection for a bold, BBQ-inspired twist on a classic comfort dish. Perfect for backyard gatherings or a cozy meal!
Directions
- Preheat grill to medium heat 350°F–400°F and heat large pot or Dutch oven. Add the ground beef and pork, cooking until browned and crumbled. Drain any excess fat if necessary.
- Add onion, bell pepper, and garlic to the pot. Sauté for 4–5 minutes until softened and fragrant.
- Stir in Weber® Bold Sweet & Smoky Chipotle Seasoning. Cook 1–2 minutes to enhance the spices.
- Add the kidney beans, black beans, diced tomatoes (with juice), Weber® Sweet & Thick Original BBQ Sauce, and broth. Stir well to combine.
- Reduce the heat to low, cover, and let the chili simmer for 30–40 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.
- Taste and add more Weber® Bold Sweet & Smoky Chipotle Seasoning if you want extra smokiness.
- Ladle the chili into bowls and garnish with your favorite toppings like shredded cheese, sour cream, or tortilla chips.
