Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef (80/20 blend preferred)
- 1 cup white onion, thinly sliced
- 1 tbsp Weber® Gourmet Burger Seasoning, divided
- 8 slices American cheese
- 4 brioche buns, toasted

Directions
- Prepare Burger Sauce: Mix mayonnaise, ketchup, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and ½ tsp Weber® Gourmet Burger Seasoning in a bowl. Chill until ready to serve.
- Preheat Griddle: Heat grill or griddle to 550°F.
- Form Patties: Divide ground beef into 8 balls, handling gently to avoid overworking.
- Cook Burgers: Place onion clusters on the griddle and season with a pinch of Weber® Gourmet Burger Seasoning. Smash a beef ball onto the onions until thin, season with more Weber® Gourmet Burger Seasoning, and cook 2–3 minutes. Flip, top with cheese, and cook 1–2 more minutes until cheese melts. Repeat.
- Assemble and Serve: Spread Burger Sauce on both sides of toasted buns. Layer two patties on each bun and serve immediately.
