Ingredients

  • 1 cup tomato, chopped
  • 2 tbsp shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp fresh basil, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, finely minced
  • 1 tsp balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil, divided
  • 1 1/2 lb ground beef
  • 1 tbsp Weber® Gourmet Burger™ Seasoning
  • 8 slice sourdough bread
This Sourdough Bruschetta Burger offers a modern twist on classic bruschetta, pairing juicy beef patties seasoned with Weber® Gourmet Burger™ Seasoning and a fresh tomato basil topping. Served on toasted sourdough bread, it’s a bold, flavorful fusion of Italian-inspired ingredients and grill-fired goodness!

Directions

  1. Tomato Topping: In a small bowl, mix the tomato, Parmesan, basil, garlic, balsamic vinegar, and 1 tsp olive oil. Set aside to let the flavors meld.
  2. Burgers: Form the ground beef into 4 half-inch thick patties and season both sides with Weber® Gourmet Burger™ Seasoning.Grill Burgers and Bread
  3. Preheat grill to medium heat 350°F–400°F. Grill the burgers over direct heat, lid closed, for 12–15 minutes, turning once, until they reach an internal temperature of 160°F for medium doneness. While the burgers cook, brush both sides of the sourdough slices with olive oil and grill for 3–4 minutes, turning once, until lightly toasted.Assemble and Serve
  4. Place each burger on a slice of toasted sourdough, top with the tomato basil mixture, and finish with another slice of bread. Serve immediately and enjoy!
