Ingredients
- 1 cup tomato, chopped
- 2 tbsp shredded Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp fresh basil, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, finely minced
- 1 tsp balsamic vinegar
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil, divided
- 1 1/2 lb ground beef
- 1 tbsp Weber® Gourmet Burger™ Seasoning
- 8 slice sourdough bread
This Sourdough Bruschetta Burger offers a modern twist on classic bruschetta, pairing juicy beef patties seasoned with Weber® Gourmet Burger™ Seasoning and a fresh tomato basil topping. Served on toasted sourdough bread, it’s a bold, flavorful fusion of Italian-inspired ingredients and grill-fired goodness!
Directions
- Tomato Topping: In a small bowl, mix the tomato, Parmesan, basil, garlic, balsamic vinegar, and 1 tsp olive oil. Set aside to let the flavors meld.
- Burgers: Form the ground beef into 4 half-inch thick patties and season both sides with Weber® Gourmet Burger™ Seasoning.Grill Burgers and Bread
- Preheat grill to medium heat 350°F–400°F. Grill the burgers over direct heat, lid closed, for 12–15 minutes, turning once, until they reach an internal temperature of 160°F for medium doneness. While the burgers cook, brush both sides of the sourdough slices with olive oil and grill for 3–4 minutes, turning once, until lightly toasted.Assemble and Serve
- Place each burger on a slice of toasted sourdough, top with the tomato basil mixture, and finish with another slice of bread. Serve immediately and enjoy!
