Southern Comfort Whiskey Flavored Seasoning Buttermilk Fried Chicken Recipe

  1. Combine buttermilk with 1 tablespoon Southern Comfort Whiskey Flavored Seasoning.  Add chicken to buttermilk mixture and marinate in refrigerator 1 to 4 hours.
  2. Combine flour and remaining Southern Comfort Whiskey Flavored Seasoning.
  3. Heat 1-inch oil to 340°F in deep skillet.  Remove chicken from buttermilk, shaking off excess and dredge in flour mixture until well coated.
  4. Add chicken to skillet in batches, do not overcrowd.  Cook about 10 to 15 minutes, turning occasionally, until golden and internal temperature reaches 165 degrees. With tongs, transfer to paper towels to drain.
