Directions
- Prepare Grill: Preheat grill to medium-high heat (375°F–425°F) with a grill pan placed on the grates. Close the lid to allow the grill pan to preheat for 5 minutes.
- Cook Bacon: Place bacon slices on the grill pan and cook until almost crisp, turning once. Sprinkle tops of bacon with 1 tsp Weber® Buffalo Trace™ Whiskey Flavored Seasoning and cook for 1 additional minute until crisp. Remove bacon and set aside, leaving a small amount of rendered fat in the grill pan.
- Cook Vegetables: Add onion and green bell pepper to the grill pan. Cook in the rendered bacon fat for 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until tender and slightly caramelized. Remove vegetables and set aside.
- Cook Steak: Toss thinly sliced sirloin with 1 tbsp Weber® Buffalo Trace™ Whiskey Flavored Seasoning. Add steak to the grill pan and cook for 4–6 minutes, stirring occasionally, until browned and just cooked through. Return vegetables to the grill pan and stir to combine. Top with provolone cheese slices, close the grill lid, and cook for 1 minute until the cheese is melted.
- Toast Rolls and Assemble: Lightly toast the hero rolls on the grill. In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise with the remaining 1 tsp Weber® Buffalo Trace™ Whiskey Flavored Seasoning and spread on one side of each roll. Layer the rolls with bacon slices and the steak mixture. Serve immediately.
