This Buffalo Trace™ Spiced Caramelized Onion Dip brings a sophisticated, savory touch to any occasion and is sure to be a crowd favorite!

Directions

  1. Caramelize Onions: In a large nonstick skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add onions and salt. Reduce heat to medium-low and cook, stirring occasionally, for about 25 minutes, or until the onions are soft and golden brown.
  2. Combine Ingredients: Reduce heat to low. Stir in softened cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, and Weber® Buffalo Trace™ Whiskey Flavored Seasoning until fully combined and smooth.
  3. Serve: Transfer the dip to a serving bowl and sprinkle with additional Weber® Buffalo Trace™ Whiskey Flavored Seasoning for extra flavor. Serve warm or at room temperature with crackers, chips, or fresh veggies.

Tips & Tricks

  • For added depth of flavor, deglaze the skillet with a splash of white wine or balsamic vinegar after caramelizing the onions, scraping up the browned bits before adding the cream cheese and seasonings.
