Ingredients

  • 1 ½ lb lean ground beef
  • 2 tbsp Weber® Gourmet Burger™ Seasoning
  • 4 slices Texas toast
  • ½ cup melted butter, divided
  • Lettuce leaves
  • 4 slices tomato
  • 4 slices red onion
  • 4 eggs
  • ½ cup blue cheese salad dressing
Juicy burgers seasoned with Weber® Gourmet Burger™ Seasoning, served on buttery Texas toast and topped with fresh veggies, grilled eggs, and a drizzle of rich blue cheese dressing—all made entirely on the grill.

Directions

  1. Prepare grill: Preheat grill to medium heat 350°F–400°F with a grill pan over direct heat. Brush grill grates clean.
  2. Prepare burgers: Mix ground beef with 1 ½ tbsp Weber® Gourmet Burger™ Seasoning in a medium bowl. Form into 4 patties and set aside.
  3. Toast Texas toast: Brush both sides of each Texas toast slice with melted butter.
  4. Place slices directly on the grill grates and toast over direct heat for 2 to 3 minutes per side or until golden brown. Transfer to serving plates.
  5. Grill burgers: Place burger patties on the grill over direct heat.
  6. Grill with the lid closed as much as possible, turning once, until the internal temperature reaches 160°F for medium, about 12 to 15 minutes.
  7. Set aside cooked burgers.
  8. Cook eggs: Place the grill pan on the grill over direct heat. Add 2 tbsp of the remaining butter to the pan and let it melt.
  9. Crack eggs into the grill pan and sprinkle lightly with the remaining 1 ½ tsp Weber® Gourmet Burger™ Seasoning.
  10. Cook until the whites are set, breaking the yolks if desired. Flip eggs gently using a grill-safe spatula and cook until firm, about 1 to 2 minutes. Remove from grill.
  11. Assemble open-faced burgers: Layer Texas toast with lettuce, tomato, onion, burger, egg, and a drizzle of blue cheese dressing.
  12. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Tips & Tricks

  • For an added gourmet touch, grill the tomato and onion slices briefly to enhance their flavor and add a smoky caramelized finish.
