Directions

  1. Preheat Grill: Preheat grill to medium-high heat, 375°F–425°F. Place a cast iron pan or griddle on the grill grates.
  2. Caramelize Onions: Heat olive oil and butter in the preheated cast iron pan. Add onions and 1 tsp Weber® Gourmet Burger Seasoning. Stir to coat, then cook for 10–15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until onions are soft and golden brown.
  3. Cook Apples: Push onions to one side of the pan. Add apple cider vinegar to deglaze the pan, scraping up any browned bits. Add apple slices and cook for 2–3 minutes until tender but not mushy. Remove onions and apples from the pan and set aside.
  4. Cook Burgers: Season both sides of the burger patties with 2 tbsp Weber® Gourmet Burger Seasoning. Place patties in the pan and cook for 3–4 minutes per side, flipping once. During the last 2 minutes of cooking, top each patty with a slice of brie cheese and cover the grill to allow the cheese to melt.
  5. Assemble Burgers: Place each cooked patty on the bottom half of a toasted brioche bun. Top with caramelized onions, cooked apples, and the top bun. Serve immediately.
