Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 3 tbsp Weber® Bold Steakhouse Reserve Seasoning Blend, divided
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • 4 New York strip steaks, 10–12 oz and ¾ to 1 inch thick

Directions

  1. Prepare Grill: Preheat the grill for direct cooking over medium heat 350°F–450°F.
  2. Make Cheese Butter: In a medium bowl, combine cream cheese, butter, and 1 tbsp Weber® Bold Steakhouse Reserve Seasoning using an electric mixer.
  3. Chill until ready to serve.
  4. Season Steaks: Lightly coat steaks with olive oil and season generously on both sides with the remaining Weber® Bold Steakhouse Reserve Seasoning.
  5. Let steaks stand at room temperature for 15–30 minutes.
  6. Grill Steaks: Brush the cooking grates clean.
  7. Grill steaks over direct medium heat, lid closed as much as possible, for 16–18 minutes for medium rare, turning once or twice.
  8. Remove steaks from the grill and let rest for 3–5 minutes.
  9. Serve: Top each steak with a dollop of the chilled cheese butter. Serve immediately and enjoy!

  • For the best flavor and sear, pat the steaks dry with paper towels before applying the olive oil and seasoning. This helps achieve a beautiful crust on the grill while locking in the seasoning.
