Ingredients

  • 1 ½ lb ground chuck (80% lean)
  • 2 tbsp Weber® Gourmet Burger™ Seasoning
  • 8 slices bacon
  • 8 slices American or cheddar cheese
  • 4 burger buns
  • Optional toppings: lettuce, tomato, pickles, red onion, and your favorite condiments
  • Olive oil for brushing

Directions

  1. Prepare Patties: Divide the ground chuck into 8 equal portions and shape into thin patties about 4 inches in diameter.
  2. Season both sides of each patty with Weber® Gourmet Burger™ Seasoning.
  3. Cook Bacon: Preheat grill to medium heat 350°F–400°F with a grill pan over direct heat.
  4. Cook bacon in the grill pan for 5–7 minutes, flipping as needed, until crispy.
  5. Drain on paper towels and set aside.
  6. Grill Patties: Increase grill to high heat 450°F–550°F.
  7. Brush grill grates with oil to prevent sticking.
  8. Grill patties over direct high heat for 2–3 minutes per side, flipping once, until they reach your desired doneness.
  9. During the last minute of grilling, place a slice of cheese on each patty and toast the buns on the grill, cut side down, until lightly browned.
  10. Assemble Burgers: Stack two patties on the bottom half of each bun, layering crispy bacon slices between them.
  11. Top with your favorite burger toppings and condiments. Cover with the top half of the bun.
  12. Serve: Serve immediately with fries, coleslaw, or a side salad for the ultimate burger experience!
