Ingredients
- 1¼ cups apple cider
- 2 cups cheddar cheese, fine shred
- 2 cups Swiss cheese, fine shred
- 2 tbsp Weber® Fireball™ Whiskey Flavored Seasoning
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- ¼–½ cup milk
- Bread cubes, soft pretzel bites, fruit, and vegetables for dipping
This Fireball™ Whiskey Spiced Cheese Fondue is a delicious and versatile dish that brings a bold, warming flavor to any occasion. Serve it as an appetizer or a crowd-pleasing snack!
Directions
- Simmer Apple Cider: In a medium pot, bring apple cider to a simmer over medium heat. Reduce heat to medium-low.
- Prepare Cheese Mixture: In a bowl, toss shredded cheddar and Swiss cheeses with Weber® Fireball™ Whiskey Flavored Seasoning and cornstarch until evenly coated.
- Add Cheese to Pot: Gradually add the cheese mixture to the simmering cider, one small handful at a time. Stir slowly and constantly to melt the cheese and prevent it from sticking to the bottom of the pot.
- Adjust Consistency: Stir in milk, a little at a time, until the fondue reaches your desired consistency. For a thinner fondue, add more milk as needed.
- Serve: Transfer the fondue to a serving bowl, fondue pot, or keep it in the saucepan. Serve immediately with skewers and your choice of bread cubes, pretzel bites, fruits, and vegetables for dipping. If the fondue thickens, return it to low heat and stir in additional milk until smooth.
