Ingredients
- ¼ cup Maple Grove Farms® 100% Pure Maple Syrup
- 2 tbsp Weber® Fireball™ Whiskey Flavored Seasoning
- 1 lb thick-cut bacon
This Fireball™ Spiced Candied Bacon is a deliciously sweet-and-spicy twist on a classic, perfect for elevating any meal or gathering!
Directions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with foil and place a metal rack on top.
- Prepare Bacon: In a small bowl, mix maple syrup and Weber® Fireball™ Whiskey Flavored Seasoning until fully combined. Brush the mixture evenly over both sides of each bacon slice.
- Bake Bacon: Lay bacon slices flat on the metal rack, ensuring they do not overlap. Bake for 20–25 minutes, turning the bacon once halfway through cooking, until it reaches your desired level of crispness.
- Serve: Remove bacon from the oven and let it cool slightly on the rack before serving. Enjoy on its own or as a topping for salads, sandwiches, or burgers.
Tips & Tricks
- Be careful not to over bake the bacon, you want it to be chewy with a slight crispness to it.
- For extra crispy bacon, place the metal rack closer to the top of the oven during the final few minutes of cooking.
