Ingredients
- Steak
- 3 tbsp rice vinegar
- 2 tbsp reduced sodium soy sauce
- 1 tbsp Weber® Gourmet Burger™ Seasoning
- 1 ½ tsp Spice Islands® Ground Ginger
- 1 tbsp corn oil
- 1 lb flat iron steak
- Salad Dressing
- 3 tbsp lime juice
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp reduced sodium soy sauce
- ¼ tsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp Weber® Gourmet Burger™ Seasoning 2 tbsp corn oil
- Salad
- 4 oz rice noodles
- 4 cup romaine lettuce, shredded
- 1 cup carrot, shredded
- 1 cup cucumber, thinly sliced
- 1 cup red bell pepper, diced
- 1/3 cup green onions, thinly sliced
- ½ cup cilantro, chopped
This Asian-Style Flat Iron Steak Salad combines tender, marinated steak grilled to perfection with a refreshing mix of rice noodles, crisp vegetables, and a tangy lime-honey dressing. Infused with the bold flavor of Weber® Gourmet Burger™ Seasoning, it’s a vibrant, satisfying dish perfect for a light yet flavorful meal.
Directions
- Steak: In a resealable plastic bag, combine rice vinegar, soy sauce, Weber® Gourmet Burger™ Seasoning, ginger, and oil. Add the steak, seal the bag, and turn to coat. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour or overnight for the best flavor.
- Salad Dressing In a bowl, whisk together lime juice, honey, soy sauce, sesame oil, and Weber® Gourmet Burger™ Seasoning. Gradually whisk in the corn oil until smooth. Set aside.
- Salad: Cook rice noodles according to package instructions. Drain and cool.
- In a large bowl, toss the noodles with romaine lettuce, carrots, cucumbers, bell peppers, green onions, and cilantro. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
- Grill Steak: Preheat your grill to high heat 400°F–450°F. Spray grill reduce sticking. Remove the steak from the marinade, discarding the excess.
- Grill steak over direct heat 8–10 minutes, turning once, until reaches medium doneness (135°F).
- Allow steak to rest on a cutting board for 5 minutes, then slice thinly against the grain.
- Assemble Salad: Toss salad with prepared dressing. Top with the sliced steak and serve immediately.
