Black Pepper & Coffee Marinated Steaks

A rich and peppery steak that’ll put some pep in your step.


  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/4 cup corn oil
  • 2 tbsp red wine vinegar
  • 1 package Weber® Black Peppercorn Marinade Mix
  • 2 tsp instant coffee
  • 1/2 tsp Spice Islands® Ground Coriander
  • 4 rib eye or strip steaks


  1. Combine water, oil, vinegar, marinade mix, coffee and coriander in a resealable plastic bag.
  2. Add steaks. Marinate in refrigerator at least 30 minutes. Remove steaks from marinade and discard marinade.
  3. Grill steaks over direct medium heat with the lid closed as much as possible. Cook 10 to 12 minutes, turning once, until steaks are desired doneness.
  4. Remove from grill and let rest 5 minutes before serving.
